You Asked, We Listened: Introducing WoodPitt Parfum Spray
Sometimes the best new ideas start with a simple question.
Recently, a customer asked us:
“Can you make cologne using your fragrances?”
Well... that got us thinking.
Many of you already know your favorite WoodPitt fragrances from our candles, beard oils, beard butters, soaps, and other products. So why shouldn't you be able to wear them too?
After plenty of research, testing, and figuring out how to do it the right way, we're excited to introduce something new to the WoodPitt lineup:
WoodPitt Parfum Spray
Our new Parfum Spray takes some of the fragrances you already know and love and transforms them into an alcohol-based personal fragrance you can wear throughout your day.
Each fragrance is blended in small batches and packaged in a sleek 30 mL (1 fl oz) spray bottle, complete with the wooden WoodPitt label that ties it right into our beard-care collection.
Why “Parfum Spray”?
You may be wondering why we're calling it Parfum Spray instead of simply calling it cologne.
Fragrances come in different concentrations, and terms such as Eau de Cologne, Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Parfum are commonly used to describe different styles and strengths of fragrance.
But there's another important part of creating a personal fragrance: not every fragrance oil is the same.
Every scent has its own formulation and safe-use limits. That's why we formulate each WoodPitt Parfum Spray individually rather than forcing every scent into exactly the same fragrance concentration.
That lets us focus on what matters most: creating a fragrance that smells great, performs well, and is formulated within the applicable IFRA Category 4 guidelines for fine fragrance products.
From WoodPitt Scent to Signature Scent
One of the things we're most excited about is that these aren't fragrances picked randomly for a new perfume collection.
They're WoodPitt scents.
That means you might already have a favorite.
Love the warm leather and woods of Midnight Rider? Now you can wear it.
Can't get enough of Man Cave or Barber Shop in your beard products? We've got you covered.
Want something sweeter or more playful like Pixy Mix? There's something for you too.
Our initial Parfum Spray collection includes Man Cave, Barber Shop, Molded Vessel, Midnight Rider, Angel Wings, At The Cross, Pixy Mix, Feet in the Sand, Island Retreat, Rugged Cross, and Lion of Judah.
From fresh and tropical to sweet, warm, woody, rugged, and sophisticated, the collection gives you plenty of ways to find a scent that feels like you.
It's Not Just for the Guys
And despite that original question about making “cologne,” we don't want to put these fragrances into a box.
Some lean masculine. Some lean sweet, tropical, fresh, or soft. And some land comfortably somewhere in between.
We'd rather let you decide what smells good on you.
That's another reason we chose Parfum Spray for the collection instead of labeling everything as men's cologne or women's perfume.
Small Batch. The WoodPitt Way.
Just like the other products we make, WoodPitt Parfum Spray isn't about producing thousands of identical bottles on an assembly line.
We're a small business, and we make our products in small batches.
That gives us the opportunity to pay attention to each individual fragrance, test it, and make adjustments when necessary.
And because every fragrance behaves a little differently when it's turned into a wearable spray, that matters.
